Four Philadelphia residents were reported dead today after the plane in which they were riding crashed into the Blue Mountain near Palmerton. Rescue workers encountered some hazardous condition before reaching the small plane. Yesterday's dense fog and intermittent rain is believed to be a contributing factor in the incident. The wreckage was found about 150 ayards from the top of the mountain. Carbon County Coroner Robert Deibert was transported to the scene and pronounced the victims dead.
