Genevieve Sherlock, who has resided at Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly since 2011, is celebrating her 100th birthday.

Born in Rome, N.Y. on June 6, 1912, Genevieve moved to Jeansville in 1919, then to McAdoo in 1925 where she resided until recently.She married Joseph Sterlock in 1935 and was married for 41 years until his death in 1977.Genevieve has one daughter, Eugenia Bumbulsky of Hometown. She also has a granddaughter, Renee Wetterau, and one great-granddaughter of Drums.Genevieve enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, watching sports on TV and praying the rosary daily.A celebration will take place at Heritage Hill with friends and family.
