Pocono Mountain Regional police reported the arrest of a Monroe County woman following a domestic incident in which a handgun and sword were used.

Police said on Friday, July 27, about 10:25 p.m. they were dispatched to 92 Lenape Trail, Long Pond, in the Emerald Lakes development, for a domestic dispute.On scene Zasha Sanchez, 24, of that address, stated that her mother, Emerida Sanchez, 61, pointed a handgun at her and cut her neck with a sword.Emerida Sanchez was placed under arrest for aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and terroristic threats.She was placed in the county prison in Snydersville, police said.
