Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Gyuricsek recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married on Oct. 26, 1946 at St. John's Lutheran Church on South Avenue in Jim Thorpe. The Rev. Addison Planz officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Gyuricsek is the former Helen Goga, daughter of the late Max and Emma Goga of Jim Thorpe. Her husband is the son of the late Stephen and Julia Gyuricsek of Jim Thorpe.They have three children: Karen Evans, Joe Gyuricsek and Brian Gyuricsek, all of Jim Thorpe.They have two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
