The Beltzville Area Lions Club is forming in Carbon County. Now is the time to learn more about what Lions do in their community.
Beltzville Area Lions Club will be meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8 at 576 Main Road, Lehighton. The format will be informal and everyone is welcome to stop by and meet the new club members and find out what it takes to join the world's largest service organization. Members who join will become Charter members of the new organization.
Anyone interested in attending and learning more about Lions is invited to attend this meeting.
They are asking for suggestions, ideas and support of the formation of the new club.
The new club will meet at 7 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of each month at a selected location.
Lions Clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
