Michele Pompa, left, branch manager of M&T Bank, Mahoning Township, presented a donation of $1,500 to Robert Silliman, president of the Carbon County Fair. The fair was selected to receive the funds through the bank's Charitable Contribution Committee. The funds were used to purchase cattle pens for the agricultural area. Pompa said that the bank choose to help local businesses and associations which will help the community to grow.
