The winners, coached by Tony Mezza, open the scoring in the second quarter when Tolucci recovers Bob Drigan's fumble into the end zone. The key play during the 64-yard scoring drive is a 33-yard pass from Jack Drigan to Johnny Stianchi. The Nesquers tack on an insurance score late in the game when Drigan completes a 91-yard march with a one-yard TD plunge.
