Carbon County commissioners presented Georgia Farrow with a proclamation recently naming Pop Out Day in the county, encouraging people to avoid the empty calories in soft drinks, ice tea and sport drinks and opt for water instead of sugary drinks to combat health issues and obesity. Students in the Weatherly Area School District were encouraged to drink water and are given bottles of water to pop out for other drinks.
