Boys in grades 1-5, who would like to become Cub Scouts in Carbon County, are invited to sign up on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway, 1 Susquehanna St., Jim Thorpe. Boys who sign up to become a Cub Scout will be given a free train ride on the North Pole Express when accompanied by a paying adult. Information will be available at the event on all the different Cub Packs in the county.
