State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an assault incident that occurred at a Schuylkill County business.

Troopers said the incident occurred at the Rite Aid drug store in the Kings Village Plaza, in Norwegian Township, about 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17.Troopers said a unknown suspect entered the store and removed two cans of computer aerosol spray and inhaled the product.The suspect was observed by William Devers, 54, of Drums, Luzerne County, inhaling the product and approached him.The suspect then kicked and punched Devers numerous times in the head, chest and back.The suspect then fled the store. Troopers did not indicate if Devers required medical attention.
