• Living Hope Lighthouse Church, 705 Third St., Palmerton, will hold Illuminate Summer Camp July 11-18 from 6:30-8 p.m. Registration will begin at 6 p.m. for ages 5 to fifth grade. Come for games, lessons, music, and fun and discover the wonders of God through STEM. On the final night will be a closing synopsis and a cookout for the children and their families.

• Slatington Baptist Church, 509 Main St., is presenting “Roar” because sometimes life is wild, but God is always good! • Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Trachsville will hold its annual VBS from 6-8 p.m. July 15-18 with a closing program on July 21 at the morning service. After the service, children and families are invited to a family carnival. This year’s theme is “Camp Jerusalem!” Kids from ages 5-12 can come and play games/sports and do artistic crafts in a Christ-centered environment. Children 2-4 must be accompanied by an adult and will sing, play games and make crafts. The event will be held in the church grove, or in the church in case of bad weather.
