600 attend Breakfast with Santa at Penn's Peak

The Penn's Peak stage in Jim Thorpe was transformed into a winter wonderland Sunday as about 600 people attended the third annual Breakfast with Santa.

Sponsored by Blue Ridge Communications, Penn's Peak, Roadies Restaurant and Dream Come True, Blue Ridge Chapter, the event featured a breakfast buffet and the opportunity for children to win prizes.The children who visited with Santa Claus had their memorable moment saved to disc, courtesy of Photography by Lynn."The food was really good and there was plenty of it," said Sue Anthony, who brought her daughter, Felicia Sue to the event. "You couldn't ask for a nicer place. I loved the decorations on the stage and I can print as many photos as I need for my family. What a great idea to have the photos on discs."Also visiting the event was Scooby Doo and Santa's Elves.Assisting at the event were several board members from Dream Come True, including Eileen Thompson, president; Carl Litwin, Tim Radler, Nikki Herbert and Wendy Borger.Julie Farina was the organizer of the event.
