Tamaqua District Court

Six people failed to appear in front of District Magisterial Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, for preliminary hearings on Dec. 17.

Tonya N. Braun, 28, of Tamaqua, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property by Tamaqua police. Charges stem from an Oct. 30 incident.

Stephanie Barron, 38, of Nesquehoning, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and exceeding maximum speed limit by 15 mph. Charges were filed by McAdoo police, stemming from an Oct. 1 incident.

Daisy J. Santiago, 35, of McAdoo, was charged with riot, resisting arrest, failure to disperse upon official order, defiant trespass actual communication to, refusal to move - obstructing highway and disorderly conduct. Charges stem from a Step. 23 incident and were filed my McAdoo police.

Katrina Hollan, 40, Lansford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance by Coaldale police. Charges stem from an Oct. 3 incident.

Devon Riddick-Dillard, 24, Lansford, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed by Coaldale police and stem from a July 5 incident.

Gisneiry Carvajal, 25, Lansford, was charged with theft, receiving stolen property and theft by failure to make required disposition of funds. Charges filed by Tamaqua police and stem from a Nov. 20 incident.

Braun, Barron, Santiago, Hollan, Riddick-Dillard and Carvajal are now the subjects of bench warrants issued for failure to appear.

Waived to court

Cases waived to court included:

Jose Luis Santiago, 47, of Coaldale, was charged with aggravated and simple assault, resisting arrest, disarming law enforcement officer without lawful authorization, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed by Coaldale police and stem from an Oct. 25 incident. Bail was set at $50,000.

Christina M. Brode, 35, of Tamaqua, was charged with endangering welfare of children by Tamaqua police. Charges stem from a Nov. 18 incident.

Crystal Vick, 22, of Coaldale, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection. Charges were filed by Coaldale police and stem from the Sept. 25 incident. She was released on her own recognizance.

Latee Crews, 45, McAdoo, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and flight to avoid apprehension/punishment. Charges were filed by Tamaqua police, stemming from a Sept. 27 incident. Unsecured bail was set at $10,000.

Gerson Manuel Yones Tejeda, 29, Hazleton, was charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving while having a suspended license. Charges were filed by McAdoo police and stem from an Aug. 13 incident.
