State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a report of a suspected child abuse case that happened between Sept. 1 and Dec. 31, 2017, in Polk Township.

Police did not provide any details of the incident they called “rape opposite sex,” except to say it involved a 15-year-old girl from Lehighton and took place on Rolling View Drive.
