Schuylkill County commissioners are putting the final touches on the annual Fall Clean-up.

The event will collect scrap metal, old tires, appliances and bulky items.

Proof of county residency must be provided.

There will be no electronics collected this year. Also, household hazardous waste such as paints, solvents, cleaners and poisons will not be accepted.

Non-freon bearing and scrap metal (stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, bicycles, barbecue grills, metal furniture), no charge.

Bulky items (mattresses, box springs, rolls of carpet, doors and windows), $10 each.

Sofas and overstuffed chairs are $5 per cushion (for example, a love seat that has two cushions would be $10).
