Northern Lehigh School Board, on an 8-0 vote with Director Gale Husack absent, took the following action at a special meeting on Monday:

• Entered into an agreement between the district and Cope Commercial Flooring and Interiors Inc. for the purpose of installing tile in 14 rooms at Northern Lehigh Middle School at a cost of $34,990, to be paid from the 2019-20 general fund budget.

• Entered into an agreement between the district and Tanner Furniture for the purchase of furniture for the science project at Northern Lehigh High School at a cost of $47,355, and is included in the 2019-2020 general fund budget.

• Appointed Katelyn Hugo as a Pre-K to 4 substitute teacher for the 2019-20 school year at the 2019-20 substitute teacher rates as approved on the Supplemental Personnel Salary Schedule.
