State police at Lehighton reported several incidents:

• Troopers are investigating suspected child abuse and sexual assault incident. The incident reported occurred at a residence in Mahoning Township, Carbon County, between 2009 and 2015, and involves two females, ages 16 and 20, as victims. Troopers said the investigation is ongoing and released no other details.

• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that was reported to them at 5:51 p.m. Oct. 25.

Police said a 56-year-old Lehighton resident reported someone broke the glass on the back door of her rental property on Jamestown Street in Mahoning Township, causing an estimated $800 in damages.

Police said it appeared there was nothing missing from inside the residence.

• A 70-year-old man from Mountain Road, in Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported Halloween decorations from the edge of his property were removed. The incident was reported on Oct. 27.

• On Oct. 26 at 2:54 p.m. troopers responded to Trachsville Hill Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, where a 34-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, from Brooklyn, New York, reported their 2016 Nissan Rogue had been damaged while parked at that location. The driver’s side window was smashed and a small zippered bag containing various makeup items and the victim’s New York driver’s license, was taken.

The damage to the window is assessed at $250 and the bag was valued at $50.

• On Oct. 26 at 4:15 p.m. troopers responded on Pohopoco Drive in Towamensing Township where a Jim Thorpe resident reported a gun was stolen from his 2007 Subaru Forester while he was hunting, along with cash and a cellphone. Taken was a Pelican gun case with wheels, valued at $300, a Galaxy A50 phone, valued at $50, an Eagle Camo Benelli black butt pad valued at $2,300, $40 in cash and the top of the center console was ripped off.

• On Oct. 25 a 20-year-old man from Kunkletown, Eldred Township, Monroe County, reported someone spread fecal matter on his vehicle while parked along Correll Road.

• A resident from Palm Drive, in Towamensing Township, Lehighton, reported jewelry stolen from her home. The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 2 and 25.
