Lansford code enforcement snafu

Recently, Marco’s Pizza spent unnecessary money on a dumpster enclosure. This was in response to a code enforcement letter stating a violation of code 802.08, “Outdoor trash dumpsters need to be concealed. …”

Code 802.08 is written for “convenience stores with gasoline pumps,” clearly not a violation and an embarrassing lack of council oversight.

So, when you Marco customers are wondering about increased prices, raise a slice of pizza in the air and toast council for a job “NOT” well done.

It is my opinion that businesses and startups should be encouraged, not harassed.
