There will be a special meeting of the Nesquehoning Historical Society at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the former Nesquehoning Baptist Church at 157 W. Railroad St. in Nesquehoning.

The meeting will be an opportunity for members to present their suggestions for a logo and sign design for the society. At the end of the presentations, members will vote on the best designs and ideas.

The society will then have the results professionally mocked up and presented for review in a subsequent meeting.

Light refreshments will be provided. All members are urged to attend. Meetings are open to the public.

For those who would like to officially join the Nesquehoning Historical Society, the dues are $10 per year. Payment can be made at Tuesday’s meeting.
