A Delaware County driver was cited following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of routes 61 and 895 in West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County, that occurred at 10:39 a.m. Saturday.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Patrick J. Brady, 64, of Hamburg, was driving a 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 truck eastbound on 895 and attempted to make a left turn onto 61 when his vehicle was struck by a 2002 Buick Park Avenue driven north on 61 by William J. Piel, 65, of Media. Troopers said Piel failed to see a steady red light at the intersection.

No one was injured, but both vehicles had to be towed.

Piel was cited for a red light violation.
