Dr. Robert J. Block joins the surgical team at Valley Oral Surgery, the region’s premier provider of oral surgery and dental implants in the Lehigh and Mahoning valleys.

Block is the fifth surgeon in the organization which began in 1983 and joins Drs. Laurence Popowich, Robert Laski, Jaime Cernansky and Niral Parikh providing care in offices in Allentown, Bethlehem and Lehighton.

Block graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2010 and recently concluded nine years of active duty in the Navy, where he completed his General Practice Residency and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency. He served at the Naval Health Clinic New England as a staff oral surgeon, receiving many military awards and achieving the final rank of lieutenant commander.
