This subject has brought a lot of attention. When I went in to vote that morning, I voiced concerns as well as when I exited my polling place. I told our mayor that I didn’t have confidence in the voting system due to the bleeding through of the markers, along with a few other concerns.

Out of all the races, Panther Valley School District was probably the most affected. My results showed that I lost the four-year term by a whopping “12” votes. I have been contacted just about every day since Nov. 6 to push for a recount. I did not do it, but I’m happy that Bob Jacobs did. Whatever the outcome is, we will go on, but I believe we need an accurate count.

What I’m hoping for is that they straighten the system out before the 2020 election because right now, voters are questioning whether their votes “truly” counted. It’s hard enough to get voters out, but when there are problems like this, it is extremely discouraging. I worry that people may not come out next time.

I do question the accuracy in other races as well. I felt the need to express my feelings on this matter.

I must add, I have nothing against the other candidates. I simply want accurate information, regardless of the outcome.
