Carbon County judges recently conducted parole/probation revocation hearings on petitions filed by the adult probation office against defendants who violated the terms of their release.

Duane Bonetsky,52, of Lehighton, had his probation revoked on a charge of driving under the influence on petition of probation officer Jillian C. McGinley for violating conditions by testing positive for marijuana on numerous occasions and failing to complete the alcohol highway safety program.Judge Steven R. Serfass resentenced him to serve three to six months in the county prison effective July 14. The order also includes that Bonetsky must petition the court for parole after he serves his minimum.Michele Goodhile,50, of Weissport, had her probation revoked on a charge of hindering apprehension on petition of McGinley for violating conditions by not having a stable residence and whereabouts were unknown and testing positive of opiates.Serfass resentenced her to serve 90 days to 12 months in prison effective June 24.Timothy Moser,46, of Lehighton, had his parole revoked on a charge of criminal trespass on petition of McGinley for violating conditions by testing positive for methamphetamine, which violated the zero-tolerance condition.Judge Joseph J. Matika resentenced him to serve the balance of his maximum term which runs to Nov. 21.ARD revokedChristopher Schnell, 19, of Lehighton, had his placement in the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program revoked on petition of McGinley for violating conditions by being arrested on new criminal charges and failing to obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations.Matika placed the case on the next available trial list.
