Northern Lehigh School Board on Monday rejected an early retirement incentive plan for its eligible professional employees.

On a 6-2 vote, the school board voted against the plan. Directors Robert Keegan Jr. and Kristie Wilk were in favor. Director Debra Bower was absent.

The plan would have been for all eligible professional employees on a voluntary basis for the 2017-18 school year.
