A LOOK BACK

JANUARY 18, 1969The Palmerton Community School Association met in the middle school cafeteria with President Ray Tuthill in charge. Five parents were elected to serve on the board with five teachers, two school board members and a school administrator.Parents named to the board included Mrs. Howard Peterson, E.D. Turner, Wilmer Bradbury, Mrs. Victor Hauser and the Rev. Frederick Wenner. They will join school board members James Ord and Peter Blynn and John Young, assistant high school principal. The teachers will be named at a later date.Representing the association on the nominating committee were Mrs. Marvin Bray, Mrs. Winston Scherer and Mrs. Milton Stemler.
