Nesquehoning Recreation Center and borough police recently delivered a number of donations to Panther Valley Elementary School.
The donations, which included cleaning supplies and first aid items, were collected during Nesquehoning’s National Night Out last month.
“Things are tough on people now with the way prices and everything are, and you know it means a lot that people came out to give things to Panther Valley where I graduated from,” said Pam Zlock of the recreation commission. “And I’m definitely PV proud.”
The supplies will be used throughout the school year.
