The 25th Annual Open House program for prospective Marian High School students and their parents will be held Sundaywith registration beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the school in Hometown. This open house is offered to students in grades nine through 12 from Carbon, Luzerne and Schuylkill counties interested in attending Marian for the upcoming school year.

Grade schools that feed into Marian High School will also hold open houses for prospective students on Sunday: St. Jerome Regional School, Tamaqua, from noon to 1 p.m.; Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, from noon to 2 p.m.; St. Joseph Regional Academy, Jim Thorpe, from noon to 2 p.m.; Holy Family Academy, Hazleton, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; St. John Neumann School, Palmerton and Slatington campuses from 9:30 a.m. to noon.For Trinity Academy in Shenandoah, call 570-462-3927.Registrations will be taken all week at each of the schools.As part of the school's 2015 Catholic Schools Week celebration at Marian, the program will begin with informational exhibits. There will be booths showing various activities, clubs and organizations. Individual subject areas will also be set up with presentations, and tours will be conducted. Refreshments will also be served. This is an opportunity for interested families to gain information about educational opportunities at Marian.The formal part of the program will begin at 1 p.m. and conclude with door prize drawings, including a top prize of $500 toward tuition at the school for the 2016-17 or the 2017-18 school year. This drawing is available for any student entering the freshman year in the respective school years.
