McCann School of Business & Technology is hosting a Bra & Panty Drive to benefit Schuylkill Women in Crisis. Donors can drop off new bras and/or panties at the Spa at McCann at 2650 Woodglen Road, Pottsville, until Dec. 23.Each year, Schuylkill Women in Crisis houses over 200 women and children who arrive at the shelter with only the clothes on their backs,” said Shannon Brennon, campus director at McCann.“The Bra & Panty Drive will help provide the organization with the simple necessities that will make women feel more comfortable during a very stressful situation. With the holiday season approaching, this is a perfect opportunity to help our neighbors in need.”McCann is offering a 15 percent discount for any one-hour service at the Spa at McCann for anyone who makes a donation.Schuylkill Women in Crisis provides services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families, conducts public information and educational activities and works to eliminate gender-based violence within the community.For more information, contact 570-622-3991 or
