Boilo contest at county fair

The Schuylkill County Fair will hold its third annual Boilo Contest (Champagne of the Coal Crackers) at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 3 in the PA Preferred Culinary Area of the fairgrounds.There will be two categories: regular and apple pie boilo.Competition is open to adults 21 and over.Contestants must bring their beverage in a plain, sealed jar or bottle at 6:30 the night of the judging, along with a completed entry form and the $2 entry fee.Entry forms may be obtained at
