NEW YORK (AP) — Jackson Galaxy of Animal Planet’s “My Cat from Hell” is out with a new book full of ways to make sure you’re not one of the unlucky cat owners to land on his show.
Galaxy, a cat behaviorist, calls the book “Total Cat Mojo,” everything he knows about the cat-human relationship. He offers tips on communication and care, urging humans to be patient as they strive to meet their cats halfway.
Galaxy also includes a rant on why people set on adopting kittens should consider taking two at once, noting they can learn a lot from each other.
He urged prospective cat adopters to consider black cats first. He said they often linger at shelters because of long-standing stigma and the fact that they tend to blend in when caged.
