An inmate at the Carbon County prison in Nesquehoning was arrested this week.
Nesquehoning police Officer Timothy Wuttke was called to the prison on Monday, Feb. 8, for a prisoner, Joseph Flammia, 20, of 94 Buckhill Rd., Albrightsville, who was brought to the jail by state police on other criminal charges. During the processing of Flammia correctional officers found a baggie of suspected marijuana on him.Wuttke will file charges of contraband, a felony 2, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, against Flammia.Flammia was arrested by troopers for various assault related offenses that occurred at his residence earlier in the day.
