The Lehighton 6th grade boys all star basketball team recently won the Minersville Tournament held at Minersville High School. Lehighton finished the tournament with a record of 5-0. It defeated Mahanoy Area, Blue Mountain, St.Clair and North Schuylkill to reach the title game, and then won the tournament with a victory over Minersville. Team members included Austin Green, Caden Meek, Cole Dietz, Aiden Solt, Carter Bellis, Jayse Lawrence, Blake Roberts and Bodie Hawk. The head coach is J.C. Dietz, while assistant coaches are Marlin Bellis and Trevor Lawrence.
