Abbott St., Lansford.Al-Anon is a nonprofit, worldwide support organization helping families and friends of loved ones suffering from addiction.Carbon County will be having its first Wills for Heroes event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Hilltop Community Center, 114 West Ludlow St., Summit Hill.Wills for Heroes program provides simple wills, a living will, and financial powers of attorney for first responders, such as police, firefighters, paramedics, and correctional officers, military veterans, and their spouses and partners.Preregistration is required and can be completed online at
