Most incumbent row office holders in Carbon County had no competition in Tuesday's primary election in their bid for re-election.
District Attorney Jean A. Engler had no opposition on the Democratic ticket and garnered 4,471 votes.She will now face off against Adam R. Weaver in the November election. Weaver, who was unopposed on the Republican ticket, received 2,518 votes.Running unopposed, and without GOP opposition, were Democrats Emmett McCall, recorder of deeds; Robert M. Crampsie, controller; and Joann M. Behrens, prothonotary.McCall of Lansford was not opposed and received 4,660 party votes.Crampsie, of Summit Hill, received 4,495 votes.Behrens received 4,343 votes.
