State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Danielle McNally, 29, and Ashley Kane, 38, both of Tamaqua, were charged with retail theft after police were called to the Walmart store, 35 Plaza Drive, Rush Township, at 6:10 p.m. Oct. 14.

Police said they placed various items valued at $588.12 in two garbage cans and then walked them to the self-checkout counter where they only paid for the two cans and two bags of dog food. Police said they were stopped by store security. They left the items and ran out of the store.

• A 40-year-old New Ringgold woman is the victim of a criminal mischief incident police were called to at 3:27 p.m. Oct. 20 on Tyson Street, New Ringgold.

She told police an unknown person caused minor damage to her 2019 Chevrolet.
