Samantha L. Gallagher, 38, of Lehighton, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 12:48 a.m. Oct. 13 on Route 873 in Washington Township, police said.

She was uninjured in the crash.

State police at the Bethlehem barracks said that Gallagher was driving a 2013 Ford Escape that left the roadway and struck a utility pole with its passenger side, splitting the pole.

The pole became dislodged and brought wires down across both lanes, police said.
