The Lehigh County coroner said a Lehighton woman has died from injuries she suffered when she was hit by a vehicle.

Mary A. Pavlik, 81, was pronounced dead on Monday at 11:05 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest.

The cause of death is complications of multiple blunt force injuries.

The coroner said she was a pedestrian who was struck by a motor vehicle on Oct. 18, at 9:20 a.m. at the intersection of Iron Street and South 3rd Street in Lehighton.

In addition to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the Lehighton Borough Police Department and Carbon County District Attorney’s Office is investigating the incident.
