State police at Bethlehem
State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police were called to KidsPeace, North Whitehall Township, at 4:45 p.m. Oct. 9 for a reported assault on a 14-year-old boy from Slatington. The incident remains under investigation.
• Police said a road rage incident following a domestic dispute took place at 6:40 p.m. Oct. 12 at a property on Route 309 in Heidelberg Township.
Three people were charged with harassment by physical contact: two Slatington men, ages 24 and 27, and 21-year-old Allentown man, police said.
The victim is a 39-year-old man from Slatington.
Police said the three men chased the victim, who was on a motorcycle, knocking him from the cycle and subjecting him to physical contact.
A 2008 Jeep Liberty was involved in the incident, police said.
• Police said a 25-year-old Lehighton woman is the victim of an assault they were dispatched to at 2:25 p.m. Sept. 25 on Airport Road, Bethlehem.
They said they were told the assault took place on Sept. 13 on Interstate 476, South Whitehall Township, when she was struck five to eight times with an open backhand to the face and nose while in the passenger seat of a vehicle being driven by her now ex-boyfriend.
Police said she sustained a broken nose that required surgery.
Police said it was determined she was also assaulted on May 22, stemming from the man going through her cellphone while she was visiting him at his Philadelphia residence.
The woman told police she was unable to see out of her left eye and was unable to work for about two weeks.
Since the Sept. 13 incident, police said, the man has made multiple attempts to contact the woman on several platforms and also sent an explicit video to her father.
Police did not say if the man had been arrested, but the case is under investigation.
