Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:

Resignation

• Tammy Fristick, special education teacher, Northern Lehigh High School, effective Oct. 6. Fristick will be retained for the 60-day notice period, with her final day of employment with the district being at the close of the workday on Dec. 4.

Appointments

• Maxine Hoffman, certified school nurse, Peters Elementary, $59,950, effective on or about Oct. 30.

• Shannon Broadfield, special education paraprofessional, Peters Elementary, $18.74 per hour, effective on or about Oct. 19.

• Holly Kearns and Amanda Kromer, unpaid volunteers to work at Peters and Slatington Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year.

• Cynthia Vivona, DaisyMae Herr, and Darin Rehrig, as bus drivers and/or aides from Krise Transportation to transport Northern Lehigh School District students for the 2026-2027 school year.

Co-curricular volunteers

• Daniel Krasenics Jr., Robin Yurgartis, Tanya Rivera, and Timothy Beagles, Northern Lehigh Jr. Theater Club.
