A Tamaqua man has admitted to a charge of disorderly conduct/physical offense and will serve six months on probation.

Schuylkill County Court Judge Christina E. Hale accepted Raymond D. Trevorah’s guilty plea, ordering him to also pay court costs, perform 10 hours of community service, and to obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommended treatment.

He also was ordered to pay a $65 monthly supervision fee.

Trevorah, 53, was charged by borough Police Officer Michael Hrebik with possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct after punching a woman in the face on April 27.

According to police, the incident happened at Trevorah’s house.

The woman said he punched her in the eye.

While police were in the house, they saw a plastic bag with what Trevorah admitted was methamphetamine. The substance was tested and found to be the drug.

The drug charge was dropped in the plea deal.
