In an effort to provide the most up-to-date information to holders of small games of chance licenses, Rep. Zach Mako (R-Lehigh/Northampton) will host a Small Games of Chance Seminar.
The event will be held on Sept. 24, from 6-8 p.m., at the Diamond Fire Company, 110 Main St., Walnutport.
“Rules surrounding small games of chance can be confusing, even for those versed in the law,” Mako said. “I’m hopeful this seminar will clear up any misunderstandings and ensure organizations in the 183rd Legislative District have complete and correct information.”
Liquor Code Enforcement Officer Derrick Devaney of the Bureau of Liquor Code Enforcement’s Compliance, Auditing and Gambling Enforcement Unit will lead the presentation. Time will be allotted for a question-and-answer session.
RSVPs are strongly encouraged. To reserve a seat, visit Mako’s website at www.Rep.Mako.com or call one of his district offices at 610-502-2701 or 610-760-9805.
The 183rd District includes Lowhill and North Whitehall townships and Slatington Borough in Lehigh County. It also consists of Allen, East Allen, Lehigh and Moore (part) townships, and Bath, North Catasauqua, Northampton and Walnutport boroughs in Northampton County.
