The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 360 is gearing up for the Pancakes and Pumpkins event on Oct. 3 at the Weatherly post home.
The children’s Halloween safety event, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon, is hosted by the Legion family, the Weatherly Police Department, Citizens Fire Co. No. 1 and Sernak Farms.
Advance registration is appreciated and can be done by calling Georgia Farrow at 570-427-4527 by Sept. 28.
There will be a mystery craft, children’s games and complimentary pancakes and pumpkins. Those attending will be able to vote on one of the two names picked for our new pig.
Free coffee and desserts will be available for the parents. The event is free of charge.
