September 15, 1962 — Trevor Lawrence proves to be a one-man wrecking crew as he scores all four of his team’s touchdowns in leading Summit Hill to a 25-13 victory over Tri-Valley. Lawrence runs for three TDs and also catches a pass for another score. He gets the Hillers on the board in the opening quarter on a 19-yard run and then extends the margin in the second frame when he snares a 29-yard touchdown toss from Ed Vermillion. Lawrence pushes the lead to 19-0 when he breaks free for a 91-yard TD run. After TV closes the gap, George Bevich recovers a fumble on defense to set up Lawrence’s 20-yard score to seal the win.
