State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Jessica S. Anselm, 32, of Tamaqua, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:33 p.m. Sept. 1 on the Clamtown Road in East Brunswick Township.

Police said the severity of her injuries is unknown. She was transported by personnel from the Tamaqua Community Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Miners Campus, Coaldale.

Police said she was driving a 2004 Subaru Legacy southbound when it struck an embankment on the west side of the road and then rolled over. They said after the initial point of impact the car traveled south, hit an embankment and rolled onto its wheels.

Anselm was issued a written warning for failure to drive at a safe speed, according to police said.

• Haivon R. Kapusnick, 28, of Mahanoy City, and James G. Bennett, 68, of Tamaqua, were uninjured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:26 p.m. Sept. 4 on Hazel Street, Delano Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Kapusnick was driving a 2016 Hyundai Elantra and attempted to enter Hazel Street from a driveway, at which time the Elantra hit a 2021 Ford Escape driven east by Bennett.

Police said the Escape was towed from the scene.

• A 15-year-old Barnesville boy had suspected serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 6:18 a.m. Sept. 5 on Park Place Road, Mahanoy Township.

Police said he was transported from the scene by personnel from the Shenandoah Community Ambulance Association and then flown by helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Campus, Salisbury Township.

Police said the crash occurred as the boy was riding a 2008 Honda CRF150 motorcycle east on Park Place Road without its headlight on.

A 2013 Nissan Sentra driven by Frederick J. Petritsch, 47, of Delano, was traveling west when it entered the eastbound lane while negotiating a left curve in the roadway and collided with the Honda, police said.

Both vehicles had disabling damage and were towed from the scene.

Petritsch was cited for careless driving, according to police.
