Pl. Valley student selected as state Young Ambassador

State Rep. Jack Rader, R-Monroe, congratulated Brooke Serfass, an 11th grade student at Pleasant Valley High School, on her selection as a 2026-27 Young Ambassador of Pennsylvania.

Serfass is one of 30 students selected for the fifth annual Young Ambassadors program, a partnership between the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.

The program empowers the young people selected to become leaders in their communities and advocates for a cleaner, more beautiful Pennsylvania.

“I am proud to see Brooke representing the 176th District as part of this outstanding group of young people,” Rader said. “I look forward to seeing how she uses this opportunity to grow as a leader and make an impact on our community. Great job, Brooke.”

The Young Ambassadors program will run from September through May. Young ambassadors will develop their civic leadership skills and gain valuable, hands-on experience championing environmental stability and community stewardship.
