State police at the Lehighton barracks reported on the following crashes:

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:58 p.m. Aug. 19 at the intersection of Short Lane and Weir Mountain Road, Polk Township.

Police said Sarah L. Jackson, 33, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder northbound on Short Lane when she went through a stop sign, entered the intersection and struck a 2020 Ford Escape operated southbound on Weir Mountain Road by Jason R. Kovacs, 47, of Louisville, Kentucky.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Jackson was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Injuries were averted in a two-vehicle crash at 8:49 a.m. July 22 on Interchange Road, Polk Township.

Police said the crash involved vehicles driven by Alexandra M. Alvarado-Balseca, 27, of Paterson, New Jersey, and Julia M. Chan, 50, of Effort.

No crash details were provided.
