State police at Fern Ridge

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• Randolph Beasley, 49, and Randolph Beasley, 20, both of Effort, were cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic dispute at 1:14 p.m. on Aug. 2 on North Rocky Mountain Drive, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said both men are listed as arrestees and victims of the incident.

• Victoria Figueroa, 38, of Sciota, and Nicholas Virella, 27, of Taminent, were cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic incident at 6:30 p.m. on July 27 on Joy Glen, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said they both are listed as arrestees and victims in the incident report.

• Terrance Tyson, 33, of Tobyhanna, is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 6:09 p.m. on July 25.

He was stopped in a 2007 Saturn in the 1400 block of 1400 Route 209, Chestnuthill Township, after which police found him in possession of illegal narcotics.

• A 54-year-old man from Effort was cited for harassment after police responded to an incident at 4:12 p.m. on July 12 on Barrys Road, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said the victim is his wife, a 48-year-old woman from Effort. She reported they were going for a drive together during which time the man commented to her he would choke her. Police said no physical contact or assault was reported by either party.

• Garrett Fisher, 24, of Effort, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 9:16 p.m. on July 11.

He was stopped in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado for summary violations in the 2100 block of Altemose Drive, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said through their investigation it was determined he was under the influence of alcohol to a degree which rendered him incapable of safe driving.

• Brandon Moore, 37, of Toledo, Ohio, is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver after police made a traffic stop at 8:49 a.m. on July 3.

Police said he was stopped in a 2026 Buick Envision for multiple traffic violations on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, after which they found him to be in possession of about 3 to 3.5 pounds of marijuana and THC edibles.

He was taken into custody and later remanded to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning.

• Police are investigating the theft of a 2023 Chevrolet Camaro from Dean Carter Chevrolet, Route 209, Brodheadsville.

They were called there at 12:08 p.m. on June 22 when it was determined the vehicle was last seen on June 20 between 5 and 5:30 p.m.

Police said the car was recovered in Philadelphia on July 23.

• Glen Moore, 61, of Effort, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 9:02 p.m. on June 10.

He was stopped in a 2017 Toyota for summary violations in the 2600 block of Route 115, Chestnuthill Township, after which police said he was under the influence of alcohol to a degree which rendered him incapable of safe driving.
