Austin Wolfe, 22, of New Ringgold, is facing rape of a child and other serious charges filed by state police in Frackville.

According to police, they received a report that Wolfe had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl between July 2022 and September 2024.

The report came from a Schuylkill County Children and Youth caseworker.

The case was assigned to state police’s Criminal Investigation Unit. Police said Wolfe admitted that “sexual things” occurred over a period of “quite a few years” with the girl. He wasn’t sure how many times it happened but said it was “a lot.” Police said Wolfe said the girl would sometimes refuse.

Police interviewed the girl, who said that she and Wolfe had been having sex off and on for about three years when she was between the ages of 12 and 15 and Wolfe was between the ages of 18 and 20. She said when it started that she was too young and immature to know anything about sex.

Wolfe was arraigned on charges including rape-forcible compulsion; rape of child; indecent deviate sexual intercourse-forcible consumption; statutory sexual assault; corruption of minors; and indecent assault of a person younger than 16 years old.

He is free on $50,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for Aug. 11.
