April 27, 1964 - Danny Bock gains three first-place finishes to help Lehighton post a 70-25 Lehigh Valley League track victory over Slatington. Bock, who returned to action after recovering from an arm injury, wins the shot put with a distance of 47-1/8. He also sets two field records at the two-year-old Slatington Stadium by clearing 12-0 in the pole vault and 6-0 in the high jump. The Indians receive a pair of firsts from Charlie Foulsham, who takes the 880 and mile in stadium record times of 2:11.4 and 4:35.5. Other Lehighton firsts come from Geno Semanoff (discus), Francis York (broad jump) and Dana Beisel (100).
