Trinity Happenings

Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, begins at 9:30 a.m. Included during this time is installation of Vacation Bible School staff. Licensed Lay Minister Kathy Long presides. Congregational fellowship follows in Luther Hall. Please bring a snack item to share if able to.

Church initiatives:

The Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays (and third Tuesday from 5:30-7 p.m.) with an outdoor drive-up setting. Residents who reside in the Lehighton Area School District are eligible to receive supplemental food. Participants must remain in their vehicle at time of pick up. Pantry volunteers will assist pedestrians/those not in vehicles.

Trinity Thrift Store hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays. Cash only sales. The store is not accepting donations of clothing or household goods during renovations. The store will be closed Aug. 3 for three weeks for renovations. Vacation Bible School “Road Trip: On the Go with God” for students ages 3 to grade 6, July 27-31, 6-8 p.m. Free registration by contacting the church office or sign up in narthex after worship. Teen and adult volunteers are needed.

Dinkey Memorial

Sunday worship at Dinkey Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1742 Dinkey Road, Lehighton, is held at 9 a.m.

Community Cupboard: Dinkey Memorial has a food cupboard available to those in need who are members of Dinkey Memorial and St. John’s and to residents of East Penn Township.
